The brief was to construct a method of allowing the site owner to upload and play music they write in a fun and engaging way. This immediately had images of the old Windows Media Player (...Yes I'm, old) Or possibly the old car stereos from the early days.

The Brief
The Result
The result was rather nice I have got to admit. The user can upload files via the existing CMS and the player will pick them up and let them form “Albums” as they see fit. The player has the current features.
- Stop / Pause
- Forward / Back
- Repeat song
- Random play
- Repeat album.
- Volume control
- Skip / search play line
The user can also change albums by clicking on them from a list below the player. If only 1 album is present then this will not appear. The albums all load via Ajax requests that load the “album” from the CMS, remove the one that’s currently loaded and start playing the first track from the new album loaded.
