No not the prog rock band, I had some projects in mind when I built this like my “Dad Joke Database” Initially I wanted an API I could control and integrate into other projects. I had no idea what direction to go in or what tools to start with.

I researched and decided to stick to firstly what I know and secondly what works for my initial goals in mind. 

There was initially Twitter API integration but it was pretty much killed off by Elon Musk, but in its place I intend on getting some Threads & Bluesky API integration in the near future.
